Emory University, including Oxford College, will delay opening on Tuesday until 10 a.m. due to inclement weather, according to a Monday night all-Emory email.

North Georgia is expected to develop black ice tonight and early Tuesday, according to National Weather Service Atlanta.

The delayed opening applies only to the University.

The state government will delay opening until 10 a.m. Tuesday due to weather, Gov. Nathan Deal’s office said Monday. Gwinnett County Public Schools and DeKalb County Schools also announced a two-hour delay for Tuesday.
