A man trying to steal a food truck from an Emory University Hospital (EUH) loading dock opened fire at about 6 a.m. on Wednesday. No one was injured, according to Emory Police Department (EPD).

The suspect, a Forest Park, Ga., resident, was taken into police custody and has been charged with carrying a weapon within a school zone as a non-license holder, aggravated assault, possession of firearm during attempt to commit certain felonies and more.

EPD and Atlanta Police Department (APD) arrived on the scene. EPD is leading the investigation, and APD assisted by sending a crime scene technician.
