Emory will close its buildings at 2 p.m. today in light of “anticipated severe weather conditions,” according to an all-Emory email. The university will remain closed through Saturday, Jan. 23.

The closure is intended to keep Emory community members safe and to limit road traffic, according to the email.

Cox Hall will close at 3 p.m. today and Dobbs Market will close at 8 p.m., according to Emory Dining’s website.

Shuttle service will resume as normal as conditions permit.

Updates will be available through Emory’s website, Facebook page, Twitter feed and the weather information phone line.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
