A simple battery on Haygood Drive was reported at the Health Sciences Research Building this afternoon, according to an all-Emory email.

A woman reported to Emory Police Department (EPD) that a male approached her to play a game of “rock-paper-scissors” for a video research project. After he won the game, he grabbed her waist and leaned over, intending to kiss her. She stepped away, and the male walked away from the scene.

The victim described him as a thin, 18-year-old male with a light-to-medium complexion.

Another female reported a similar incident near Starvine Bridge of a male who asked her to video record them playing rock-paper-scissors. After stating that she should kiss him if he won, he then asked if she wanted to have sex with him. She declined, and the male walked away from the scene.
