On Nov. 4 at 6:40 a.m., Emory Police Department (EPD) responded to a call regarding an individual sleeping in the women's restroom on the third floor of the Dobbs University Center. The complainant said that a female was sleeping on a sofa in the bathroom. The individual had taken off her jeans and put them on a hanger. Officers arrived on the scene and checked the bathroom, but they could not locate anyone.
On Nov. 4 at 2:15 p.m., EPD responded to a call regarding a stolen laptop on the third floor of Atwood Hall. The complainant, who was an administrative assistant, said that when she returned from a meeting, her laptop was missing. There was a suspicious subject who was seen in the area, but EPD was unable to locate the individual. Information regarding the case has been turned over to a detective.
On Nov. 5 at 2:34 p.m., EPD responded to a call regarding a theft at the Callaway building. A staff member at the location said someone stole his laptop valued at $2,300. He also had his iPhone stolen, valued at $600. The case has been turned over to an investigator.
On Nov. 5 at 8:34 p.m., EPD responded to a call regarding suspicious activity on the fifth floor of the Robert W. Woodruff Library. The security officer on the location said an individual turned over a bag of what appeared to be marijuana to him. The individual said the marijuana was left unattended on a table in the library. Officers confiscated the marijuana when they arrived on the location.
On Nov. 6 at 5:45 p.m., EPD responded to a fire alarm on he second floor of Clairmont Tower. Someone burned food at the location. Officers examined the area and did not find anything of concern. The alarm was reset.
