Emory University will be closed tomorrow because of harsh weather conditions and snow.

The Dobbs University Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Dobbs Market will operate under weekend hours – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. According to Senior Vice President and Dean of Campus Life Ajay Nair, “if we can get enough staff to campus, the [Student Activity & Academic Center] is our next priority. Cox won’t open and students are encouraged to use Dobbs Market.”

Nair added that some independent retailers might open over the course of the day.

All libraries will be closed.

Emory Student Health and Counseling Services (EUSHCS) will be closed. Emory Healthcare will remain open. EUSHCS is rescheduling appointments over the phone.

Students with urgent problems can reach the on-call physician at 404-27-7551, option 0.

The Emory Wheel was founded in 1919 and is currently the only independent, student-run newspaper of Emory University. The Wheel publishes weekly on Wednesdays during the academic year, except during University holidays and scheduled publication intermissions.

The Wheel is financially and editorially independent from the University. All of its content is generated by the Wheel’s more than 100 student staff members and contributing writers, and its printing costs are covered by profits from self-generated advertising sales.
